Bio
A Harvard-educated instructional leader and educator dedicated to empowering young people to find their voices, inspire others, and lead with purpose. Passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences, I believe education extends far beyond the classroom. It is about cultivating curiosity, confidence, and the courage to share ideas that can change the world.
As an educator at CAG, I have championed student leadership by mentoring and guiding students through the planning, development, and delivery of successful TEDxYouth events. Watching students transform from hesitant speakers into confident changemakers has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. By encouraging collaboration, creativity, and authentic storytelling, I strive to create spaces where every student feels empowered to contribute their unique perspective.
My work focuses on developing future-ready learners who think critically, communicate effectively, and embrace leadership through service. Whether coaching student speakers and student event planners, designing innovative learning opportunities, or supporting educators in transforming instruction, my mission remains the same: to help others discover that their voice has the power to inspire action and create lasting impact.
I'm passionate about
I am passionate about student leadership, innovative education, and creating learning environments where curiosity thrives. I believe that every learner has untapped potential waiting to be discovered through meaningful opportunities, supportive mentorship, and authentic challenges.
I enjoy helping students develop public speaking and storytelling skills, not only to become stronger communicators but also to become more reflective thinkers and empathetic leaders. Seeing students grow in confidence as they realize their ideas matter is what continually inspires my work.
Beyond education, I am passionate about lifelong learning, innovation, leadership development, and building communities where people feel heard, valued, and empowered to make a difference.
An idea worth spreading
Every young person has a story worth telling and an idea worth sharing. Too often, students underestimate the value of their own experiences, believing that meaningful ideas belong only to experts or adults. I believe the opposite is true.
When we intentionally create opportunities for students to speak, lead, and share their perspectives, we help them discover confidence, empathy, and purpose. The process of developing an idea, refining a message, and presenting it to an audience is transformative. It teaches resilience, critical thinking, and the belief that one voice can spark conversations that lead to change.
Education should not simply prepare students to answer questions. It should empower them to ask better ones, challenge assumptions, and contribute solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. By investing in student voice, we invest in the next generation of innovators, leaders, and compassionate citizens.
This year's TEDxYouth theme at CAG, The Unseen, is a reminder that some of the most powerful ideas are often hidden in plain sight. Sometimes what goes unseen is not only a problem that deserves attention, but also the untapped potential within people whose voices have yet to be heard. When we choose to listen more closely, encourage curiosity, and create space for every perspective, we uncover ideas that have the power to inspire change.
The TED story
TED has long represented something I deeply value: the belief that ideas can inspire action and bring people together across cultures, generations, and disciplines.
Being part of TEDxYouth at CAG has allowed me to witness this belief come to life. Working alongside students as they shape their ideas into compelling talks has shown me that some of the most powerful insights often come from young people who are willing to question, imagine, and dream differently. Guiding students through this journey, from brainstorming and refining their message to stepping onto the TEDx stage, is both a privilege and a constant reminder of why education matters.
For me, TEDx is more than an event; it is a platform for cultivating courage, curiosity, and meaningful dialogue. Every speaker who shares an authentic story has the potential to spark new perspectives, inspire action, and remind others that ideas truly are worth spreading.
Things you might not know
Helping people discover the story they didn't know they had.
Whether coaching a student for their first TEDx talk, mentoring colleagues, or facilitating learning experiences, I enjoy asking thoughtful questions that help people uncover the message they most want to share. I also love transforming complex ideas into clear, engaging stories that connect with audiences.
Outside of education, I'm known for bringing people together, encouraging collaboration, and finding creative solutions to challenges -often with optimism, curiosity, and a good sense of humor.
