Bio
Hi, I’m Pari Patel, a Psychology student at Temple University pursuing a minor in Public Health and a Certificate in Forensic Psychology. I’m passionate about understanding people, creating meaningful connections, and using psychology to make a positive impact in my community.
My experiences in mental health advocacy, research, and student leadership have shaped my interest in how people think, feel, and connect with one another. I believe every person has a unique perspective, and sometimes all it takes is the right platform and the right audience for an idea to create change.
I’m excited to be part of TEDx because it brings together curiosity, creativity, and conversations that can inspire people beyond the event itself.
I'm passionate about
understanding people and the experiences that shape who they are. I enjoy exploring the connection between psychology, mental health, and everyday human interactions. I’m especially interested in creating spaces where people feel comfortable sharing their stories, learning from different perspectives, and having conversations that encourage empathy and growth.
An idea worth spreading
I believe the most meaningful ideas are the ones that help us understand ourselves and each other better. A conversation, experience, or perspective can change the way we see the world and encourage us to create more empathy and connection.
Things you might not know
noticing small details and finding connections between different ideas. I enjoy bringing structure to creative projects, organizing plans, and helping turn ideas into something meaningful. I also have a habit of asking “why”, whether it’s understanding human behavior, improving a process, or looking at a situation from a different perspective.
