Pritika Mehta is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, mathematician, Data Scientist, TEDx speaker and a thought leader. She graduated from State University of New York with Masters in Artificial Intelligence. She is one of the 25 women who was selected from all across the globe to speak at TEDxWilmington Women Conference in Delaware, USA. Her TEDx talk is on future of work in 21st century and how to prepare for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She is a serial entrepreneur – Her first startup, BookMypresent, was in personalized gifting powered by data analytics. She was the co-founder of an edutainment venture, Mindbatteries. She is now the founder of SockSoho - a fashion tech startup. Through her tech career, Pritika has worked with three startups and multinational companies (Bank of America, Tripadvisor etc.) in USA as a Data Scientist. She has been selected as a Global Shaper by World Economic Forum for her excellence in the field of data science and technology. Pritika is a mentor at ‘Girls Who Code’ to support and increase the number of women in computer science. She has also been selected as a ‘City Awake Delegate' of Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, a position reserved for influential leaders in US to spearhead economic growth in Boston. Pritika is an honorary member of PhiSB in USA. PhiSB is an invitation-only-network of females who are exceptional in their potential , achievements and drive to make positive impact. Pritika holds the licence for TEDxChandigarh and organized the first ever TEDx in North of India on January 2017 with the theme 'DREAM IDEATE CREATE' to bring intellectual experiences to the people of North India. I have always been a multitasker and have always enjoyed learning from various domains which I felt always helped me.

I am strongly motivated by the idea that opening people’s minds is the secret to unlocking their potential. All my work has revolved around this idea. Professionally I am a data scientist and I have been using technology to improve lives. I am very passionate about education, technology and people. I initiated multiple projects where I brought together community – fundraising for NGOs, teaching projects for street kids etc. I believe that as a human, my primary responsibility to make a positive impact on lives I am in touch with. I leave no opportunity to utilize cognitive surplus of people for community good.

I was always keen on learning more and more and most of my life, the focus was on printed media like books, magazines, newspaper.When the bug of technology grew, I not only got to interact with people better but also got to expand my knowledge base.When I came across TED videos shared by people on various networking sites, I started watching them and it became my daily routine to watch them.I just got hooked on to TED.
