Bio

Jim is CEO at The Partners – rated in 2011 by Design Week as the UK's most creative agency and Marketing magazine's Branding Agency of the Year. He joined The Partners in 2001 as a Strategy Consultant and became CEO in 2003. His clients at The Partners include Deloitte, Vodafone, eBay, Ford Motor Company, and The National Gallery in London. Before joining The Partners, Jim worked client-side in several world-renowned consumer brands. From 1997-2001 he was Director of Product and Marketing (E.M.E.A. region) for Converse Inc. From 1994-1997 Jim was Head of Merchandise for Levi Strauss UK. Jim is a passionate advocate for the use of creativity in strategic thinking and is inspired by the pursuit of wholly original and thought-provoking solutions to business problems. He is a regular commentator in trade and consumer media on brand related matters where his willingness to contribute challenging, straight-talking points of view often inspires much debate. He lives in West London with his partner and two young children. Having retired from the sport of triathlon in 2010 he is now taking up long-distance swimming and tennis (although not necessarily at the same time). Other interests include learning how much he doesn't know about wine and the studious avoidance of business books.
