Bio
Alex Daniels is a Principal with Fayerweather Capital Partners, a multi-family office that invests across asset classes, industries, and markets on an actively and passively managed basis. He focuses on direct, venture-stage and growth equity-stage investments across a range of digital media and technology sectors, in the US and internationally. He leads the due diligence process; structures, negotiates and closes deals; and advises portfolio companies on strategy, business development, financing, & operations. Portfolio companies include enterprise software, marketplaces, fin tech, AI / ML automation, data analytics, sports tech, digital media, legal tech, and business services companies. Examples include Accordant (acquired by Dentsu), Blue J, Clara, Definely, DRL (acquired by Infinite Reality), Jetty (acquired by Rhino), Second Spectrum (acquired by Genius Sports), Stake, Supercast (acquired by Red Seat Ventures), and HumanUp. In addition, he is a member of the investment committee making allocations to venture capital and growth equity funds.
He has worked and lived in NY, LA, SF, Hong Kong, London, and Zurich.
He graduated with a BA from Dartmouth College and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
