Bio
Hi! I’m Sarah! I’m interning with the TED Fellows program this week, and am excited to connect with as many people as possible and help make your TED experience an awesome one :)
I graduated from Cornell in 2016 with a degree in Information Science, Systems, and Technology and a minor in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I'm originally from Columbus, Ohio, and I live in Seattle, WA where I work for Microsoft as a program manager on our Video Editor. I am lucky enough to get to do lots of work with educators and students in order to provide awesome, free experiences for photos and videos in the classroom.
I'm passionate about synthesizing different fields, from design, psychology, communication, and queer theory to computer science and operations research. I am driven to find opportunities to change peoples' lives through technology, improve user experience, and apply both my creative and analytical sides to problems.
