Professionally, I help small to mid-sized businesses and non-profits grow through my work as a marketing consultant. Personally, I'm fascinated by how and why people connect with other people. We are all human, we all have needs, desires and points of pain. Yet we all have our own unique fingerprint - and leave a unique mark on those we meet. I'm fascinated by the complex nature of human relationships.

In 2000, my electronic arts professor at Mills College, Gail Wight, introduced me to TED, as she had been a conferenece attendee. Later, I audited a graduate design class at the School for Visual Arts in NYC and our professor arranged for us to have access to the beta TEDx platform and got hooked. When I moved back to my hometown, I introduced my dad to TED and we, along with 2 other friends, swore we would find a way to build a community theater in our small town where TEDx talks could be shared - and help to bring our community together. We started putting on talks in West Chester, PA 2014 and it's been an amazing experience. In 2017 our new town theater will come to life. I love being a part of the TEDx community and watching our local community embrace it.
