Filmmaker and designer Elizabeth E. Schuch creates vivid worlds across film, TV, and live events. A TED stage designer since 2012, in her personal work she explores feminist-perspective horror through richly imaginative storytelling.

Travel, coffee, architecture, sketching, sparkly things. But more seriously, I’m passionate about encouraging under-represented voices in filmmaking. Singing. I trained a lot in my youth and still love it.

I’ve been collaborating with TED since 2012, on Stage Design, Illustration and Animation Design, all over the world including the US, UK, across Europe, Australia and Africa. My approach is always bringing an unusual point of view, callouts to art, science or nature, and to delight the eye in the room or through the screen.
