I work in a pathologically global business. I travel too much. People I depend on are half way around the world and I spend multiple hours a day working with them. At one point I was the only member of the team in the US. Mostly it is face to face over Skype. You would think that this would be challenging, unfulfilling, disconnected but I feel more connected and closer to the people I work with than at any other point in my career. I speak with my Father more than I did when I was at school. I see my wife every day. This could be anyone's story. I could be talking about friends and family abroad.
