A pioneer in global cleantech investing and I launched some of the first clean energy venture capital funds including Carbon Trust in the UK and Nomura internationally. I am an entrepreneur and have started companies in three countries. I help various NGOs and have worked in the Middle East with the UN on issues of water & conflict. I am a venture partner in an international clean energy fund and I am chairman of a solar energy company. Originally Canadian, my wife and I are modern-day nomads based in London.

An idea worth spreading
Clean, renewable energy (excluding hydro and nuclear energy) still accounts for a minimal amount of our power. Saving energy is less sexy but it is where all the really big wins will come from for the next generation.
