The TED story

I learnt about TED through Kamran Elahian and got very intrigued with the amazing people on the network. Having recently sold my own business, gone through 2 major 4 hour surgeries each, turning 45, totally thrilled that Obama is the new President of the US (I actually stood in the mall with the 2 million people for the Inauguration), I now value time more than ever and have made a commitment to myself to only seek out enlightened and commited doers in the world. We are at a very critical juncture in humanity where there is great propensity for us to move either forward or backwards. I want to be connected to people committed to making a better world. I am confident that TED is a great network to meet such people. "So powerful is the light of unity that is can illuminate the whole earth" and TED looks to me as a gathering of people committed to unity. I am so excited to be a part of this network.
