I founded True Life, Inc in 2000 and we are now located in both Seattle, WA and Reno, NV. In 2010, I wanted to impact women so founded the LEXI Women's Leadership Summit. I have the joy of impacting lives on a daily basis whether it be in a conference ballroom as a national speaker, on the phone 1:1 with a CEO as a coach or folks graciously reading my books, blogs and tweets. At True Life, I mentor organizations to grow their people, build strong teams and maximize their culture starting with the essentials of communication, conflict resolution and trust. At Lexi, I connect, equip and mentor leaders to their next level. If a friend were to describe your accomplishments in up to three sentences, what would he or she say? * For 12 years, Shandel has used True Life, Inc. to serve, lead and impact the lives of others inside and outside her organization. Shandel helped me find my purpose and I am living it strongly today With her success, Shandel is the same girl who grew up in Quincy, CA and genuinely loves other people and wants them to be the best they can be TODAY! What other achievements would you like to share? * I am grateful for the book I published called, "Clarity: Focusing on What Matters" and the one I am writing currently. True Life Coaching has served hundreds of Entrepreneurs and CEOs impacting thousands of lives across the nation. We have offices in two states so I can be near my family and be intentional about the next generation. I am grateful to have created the Lexi Leadership Summit in 2009 and it keeps gaining momentum each year (Lexi wants to be Ted's Girlfriend)

Living with purpose. Helping other people find their purpose is my purpose. I have the joy of doing it daily in my company with my employees and clients. My passion is the LEXI Women's Leadership Summit. The mission is to connect, equip and mentor women and we will host our 4th annual Lexi WLS on March 23rd. I want to take LEXI national, global and allow women the freedom to be and to have it all ... after they have defined the all. :)

I am so excited to have a TED Story - to create one... if I were to speak at TED it would be the answer I gave on my application... When I was four years old, I drown. There were 10 adults combing the beach looking for me on the shore of a glassy still lake and the setting evening sun. My mother heard them and screamed "She would never leave without telling you where she was going." She laid my 3 month old brother in the playpen, ran to the beach and the whole way prayed that God would lead her to me. She ran 10 feet out into the perfectly still lake and found me fully clothed on the bottom of the lake. With sand floating over my opened eyes, my dad met her there and hauled me back to the beach. After CPR for quite some time, hope returned when he finally saw a pulse in my neck. I was rushed to the hospital and my dear parents were told I may not live and if I did the chances of .... You'll have to meet me to find out the rest of the story! :)
