I am the Chief Marketing Officer of OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, a 24/7 cable network and online community due to launch in 2010. We are just getting started. So exciting. Prior to this adventure, I was a host and creator of Satellite Sisters, a daily three-hour nationally syndicated women's talk radio show carried on terrestrial radio stations around the country and XM Radio Channel 155. We also podcast at www.satellitesisters.com. Satellite Sisters has won 10 Gracie Allen Awards from American Women in Radio & Television. Prior to creating Satellite Sisters, I was the Vice President of Global Marketing at NIKE, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon. I was at NIKE for almost a decade, starting as Director of Public Relations in 1988. Earlier in my career, I worked in advertising and public relations in New York City.
