I am an MBA student at Newcastle University, and also President of our TEDxNewcastleUniversity Student Society. As students we meet weekly to watch TED & TEDx videos and discuss the ideas presented. We like to play TED games and riddles too! I have my own Creative Consultancy startup that helps small businesses and charities to raise their visibility using public relations, digital marketing and events. My main focus is international events which showcase culture. I have a podcast called ‘Nurture Your Zest’ which is all about overcoming the ‘prickly situations’ in life, and strategies for resilience and how to find the thing which nurture your zest, curiosity and creativity.

I love meeting people from all walks of life from all over the world! I love travelling and discovering new cultures. I love to learn!

One day I would like to do a TED or TEDx talk about my experience with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and how creativity helped me in my journey to recovery.

I first discovered TEDx in 2017 when I attended a TEDxNewcastleUniversity Society Conference and fell in love with it right from my first event! I loved the principles of TEDx and ‘ideas worth spreading’, and the energy and atmosphere of the event. I have now attended two TEDxNewcastleUniversity Conferences, and volunteered at TEDxNewcastle.
