Danielle Swanepoel

Born and raised in South Africa, Danielle Swanepoel fell in love with Philosophy at a young age. With this love of Philosophy, she pursued a Master’s degree in Philosophy and is currently doing a PhD in Philosophy, specifically in meta-ethics and rationality. Her fields of interest include philosophy of mind, philosophy of science and philosophy of Artificial Intelligence. After teaching at various institutions in South Africa, she took the giant leap and moved to South Korea in 2018 to become an assistant professor. She now teaches Ethics, Critical Thinking and Speech and Debate at SolBridge International School of Business. She has also found another love: debate. She coaches the debate team at SolBridge and loves every minute of bringing Philosophy alive through debate.
