Bio

Preferred pronouns: She, her, hers Paula has over a decade of experience building inclusive multicultural, social & community impact businesses, marketing strategies, and experiential models for brands in the US from the ground up. She is known for connecting brands with multicultural audiences authentically and credibly. For the last eight years, she’s worked for Red Bull developing & overseeing Social Innovation. She was responsible for all the initiatives centered on generating a positive impact in communities around the US. She led and developed the Multicultural department within the company, creating initiatives based on diversity, equality & inclusion. Paula is a Colombian immigrant who moved from Bogotá to the United States over 15 years ago without knowing English. She experienced learning a new language, living in a new culture, and (re)building a new life for herself. She identifies as an intersectional feminist with an interest in learning what it takes to raise humanity’s vibration. Her personal and professional journey inspired her to leave behind the corporate world after a decade to start her own business. She launched EMPRESS in 2021 and is committed to supporting brands and entrepreneurs devoted to rebuilding our world. Paula also serves as the Director of Programming for #WeAllGrowLatina Summit 2022. #WeAllGrow Summit is the go-to professional conference for Latinas and the only one of its kind. Paula is a Vipassana meditator, hiker and loves discovering new music, places in nature to visit, and learning about sustainability, decolonization, the ancestors, mental health, and wellness practices.
