Victor is currently CEO at SPRYFIT which is a startup , fitness gaming platform with money reward. He has been curious about why fitness trackers such as Fitbit cannot make people healthier. “Fitness data itself is not enough to change people’s behavior” So that's the starting point of SPRYFIT. He thinks that money is a kind of external motivation to change people's behavior. When people's self-motivation and external motivation are combined , He believes that people would change their bad behavior. ---- Victor has been a founder of IVISUAL which is a private company for him to plan and execute his own projects such as ebooks , events , applications and websites. He has been a technical writer to publish over 14 books. iStart series which he wrote , edited and published used to be on the top on iBookstore. So Apple iBookstore team introduced his book at WWDC13. He has been a producer to organize TED and TEDx events. Victor collaborated with TED's Chris Anderson to organize the first TED event calling TED@Seoul. As a result , the event discovered 4 TED speakers in TED2013. ----- Victor used to work in Intel. He had discovered over 18 Intel Software Vendors, of those 3 ISVs were selected strategic targets for Menlow platform in Intel. When Apple launched Apple Watch, they said that Apple Watch would help people to keep their healthier life. ----- By the way I wonder that the trackers such as Fitbit or Apple Watch really works. I don't agree with it. A fitness data doesn't guarantee that people become healthier. So we need something stronger that people can't resist. That's money. ---- Since 2014 I have developed this idea and now this is the time that I introduce SPRYFIT which is a fitness gaming platform with money reward. When I saw the first TED talk, I was shaked because it was really amazing to me. TED talks always touched me and it has given me a stimulation. So when I was back to Korea and then I found Keynote User Group to have a presentation party like a small TED conference. I wanted everyone to enjoy any kind of presentation. We regulary had a presentation party that everyone can share their story. And we expand it to TEDx event which is TEDxMyeongDong. As a pioneer of TEDx in Korea,I have done over 17 TEDx events and helped to launch TEDxYouthSeoul event and the first TEDxChange event in Korea. Recently I took TED@Seoul Production manager to organize the event with TED team. And I was very pleased that 4 speakers from TED@Seoul will be TED2013 stage.
