Bio
CEO and owner of Gary Deane Associates, - a commercially focussed town planning consultancy. Operates throughout the UK, based in Manchester. Previously, Regional Planning Director of a major UK housebuilder - Barratt Homes. Directed the Company’s planning services across six Business Divisions. Prior to that, established and successfully built up a strong Planning & Development Consultancy Team based in Manchester.
Particular expertise in the residential, retail, regeneration and commercial sectors. Key strengths include:
Leadership of multidisciplinary project teams on large complex development projects;
Delivery of complex regeneration projects involving difficult brown field sites; and
Consensus building drawing together disparate interests through consultation and collaboration.
Gary Deane is a Chartered Town Planner and member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
