I am a professional educator, writing coach, student advocate, truth-seeker, media-hound, reader, hiker, and National Park loving travel junkie. I have Christian values and value the inclusivity of all religious, philosophical, and psychological studies in my search for truth, purpose and meaning in life.

I'm passionate about the fact that Truth motivates creation. I feel obligated to continually seek truth through the creations of authors, artists, musicians, etc.

Creating the need-to-know is the key to teaching and learning. Trying, failing, and doing creates the need to know, and, thus, moments ripe for learning.

My TED story is not yet developed, like my life and what I'm going to be when I grow up despite my 54 years. I am constantly seeking to be educated because I am a master of very few subjects.

I am very good at teaching students to search for truth and meaning through literature and inspiring them with concepts that reading is transcendental and allows us to communicate in a near-mystical way with people/authors who were motivated to reach out to others by creating literature.
