The Founder of the Iranian American Women Foundation (IAWF), an organization dedicated to empowering, inspiring, and connecting women through leadership conferences held across the U.S. and internationally. Her vision is to create a strong network where women uplift and support one another in both their personal and professional endeavors. With over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, Mariam served as the Executive Director of the Coastline College Foundation for 20 years. She has been a prominent figure in the field of philanthropy as a consultant, speaker, and trainer, successfully raising millions of dollars for local, national, and international organizations. Her dedication to community service and philanthropy has earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2015. She was appointed by the Mayor of Irvine as a Community Services Commissioner and has served on several influential boards, including PBS SoCal, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and the California Community College Foundation. Additionally, she chaired the Investment Council for the United Way of Orange County for two years, further demonstrating her leadership in advancing community initiatives.
