I'm passionate about
Helping people understand how beneficial plant-based eating is to human health, the animals, and the environment. Billions of intelligent, sentient beings are living tortured lives and dying horrific deaths because people think that eating animals is normal, necessary, and natural.
The truth is that most decisions regarding food are based upon our customs, tastes, convenience, and habits.
We need to rethink this so that we can save millions of humans from debilitation and death due to heart disease, stroke, many cancers, diabetes, high blood pressure, suicidal depression, Alzheimer's and other chronic conditions.
An idea worth spreading
We can create a world that is more peaceful, healthy, and sustainable by making one simple change: switching to a plant-based diet.
This is better for human health, the planet, and the animals.
It is much easier to do than most people think.
When we can eat healthy, delicious, and nutritious meals without causing suffering and pain to thinking, feeling animals who just want to live in peace, why wouldn't we?
The TED story
I'm excited to have been named the Curator for TEDxDupreePark. I'm thrilled to be tasked with finding the perfect speakers who will share big ideas within our "Spreading Greatness" theme.
Things you might not know
I'm pretty much an open book in person and on social media - especially Facebook. Despite that, I'm pretty good at keeping secrets.
