I am a Biomedical Sciences graduate and third-year Medical Student currently studying in the United Kingdom. Despite my background in Medicine I have always aimed to be informed on the different issues of our age. I seek to have opinions that are adequately scrutinised and am not reserved about expressing them. I always look forward to an opportunity to debate, I see all debates as an opportunity to both express my own ideas, but also to listen to and learn from the ideas of others.

I am in awe of the capabilities of human kind. I want to learn as much as possible about both our strengths and weaknesses, which are often manifested in the form of good and bad decisions.

In 2018 I was given the invaluable opportunity to do my give my own TEDx talk at TEDxBrunelUniversityLondon regarding the issues facing my home country, the Republic of Kosovo. I used a personal story regarding me and my neighbour to make an argument for peace and cohesion between the different cultures and nations of the Balkans. I enjoyed this experience so much that I am now the Organiser of TEDxAngliaRuskinUniversity, where I aim to put together an event that will be as empowering and life-changing as the one I was lucky to provide a talk in.
