I'm passionate about

I'm passionate about Place/Destination branding, which involves my practice as a professional Town planner, as well as a skilled and experienced branding professional. This involves the branding of neighborhoods, cities, and nations to fit into the desired narrative which harnesses its Hospitality attributes. To best tell the stories of these places, storytelling is to be embraced through the new digital media, while applying the basic planning skills. As a fresh graduate, I'm still developing myself actively in these two fields for a brighter future.

An idea worth spreading

All of us have a brand, and it takes a little conscious effort to actively build this brand to our own advantage. To do this, one of the easiest ways to do this is by telling our stories by ourselves, through whatever form we deem fit, while also using any platform. From my own personal experience, LinkedIn is the one platform that allows you to easily do this for your personal development as you build your brand. This is all about a platform that gives you a platform to actually tell your story, just as you want it to be, and not based on the definitions of others. Your LinkedIn profile is waiting for you to develop it. Your story is waiting for you to be told.

The TED story

I got to know of TED and TEDx talks through YouTube, and it did not take long for me to make TEDxEuston series, my favorite. The talks, made me imagine what the experience would be like, hence why I started actively looking for opportunities near me to be a part of. This was how I got to start as a design partner for two different TEDxNzastreet events, as Tobedesigns. The relationship with this team got me another access to be a part of TEDxAwka. The experience remained quite engaging and made it natural to have seen that I have gone ahead to be a volunteer for 2 TEDxBissallaRd events, while also serving as a team member for the last Event, as well as that of the TEDxAsata event, where I served as the design team lead. My love for this experience has gotten me to take it a step further by creating a LinkedIn newsletter, titled, TEDxMylife, where I share my personal perspective on TED talks I watch on a weekly basis. This newsletter boasts of over 11,700+ subscribers while growing steadily over the weeks. I invite everyone to go ahead and subscribe to my newsletter to learn more, not just from the videos, but also from me personally.
