Steven Rubio

Artist, Musician, Producer

Steven Rubio is a local musician, music producer, and private drum instructor with over 20 years of experience. From an early age, he was heavily influenced by his family of musicians and their passion for music. In high school, he gained invaluable experience drumming in an award-winning concert, marching, and jazz band. He attended Musicians Institute in Los Angeles and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Music Performance. After earning his degree, Steven focused on performing, touring, teaching, and recording. In a 10-year period, he performed at 70 different venues with 25 bands across 3 countries. Steven Rubio is the owner and producer at Mile High Recording Studio. He has been recording with talented locals since 2016. After learning about an alternative and holistic way to tune music (A=432 Hz.), he began researching, exploring, and re-tuning his instruments. He currently offers local sound healing sessions and meditation music for yoga studios and healing centers. His intention is to raise awareness in the music community and affect listeners on a more profound level.

Quality. Our modern society has traded quality for convenience. Newer technologies have made things quicker and easier, but has quality been increased? I'm passionate about producing art at the highest possible quality.
