As a Vice President of the multi-million dollar entertainment company Big Apple Circus, located at Lincoln Center in New York, my focus is on creating accessible, safe and magical experiences. This endeavor is aided by my background as a licensed guard and security instructor in NYC. Throughout my career in the entertainment industry. I have managed multiple security teams at large and small venues. As one of few women working in private security and access control, creating and sustaining safe environments is very important to me. Because of this, in 2019 I founded Golden Door Security Training, based on the final words of Emma Lazarus’ famous proclamation from the New Colossus. The training program focuses on teaching PPO security through an intersectional de-escalation and conflict resolution tactics.

Circus, illogical entertainment and safe spaces.
