The TED story

As an avid viewer of TED talks, I began to explore the possibility of bringing TED to UL in September 2018 and discovered the TEDx programme. I had a serendipitous meeting with two UL students who were interested in the exact same project and had already come up with a brilliant theme. We joined forces as organizers and brought TEDxUnversityofLimerick to the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance in UL on 18 June 2019. I loved the entire experience and following the event's success, applied to attend the TEDWomen conference in Palm Springs in December 2019. I am now bringing TEDxUniversityofLimerick to a larger audience in May 2020, with the help of my co-organizer, Erin King.
