The TED story

TED has revolutionized how we communicate, and the platform has empowered thousands of people across the globe. TED-style talks are life changing, and I have experienced this firsthand by having the honor and privilege to work with and learn from incredible teams of high school students and educators on 6 TEDxYouth events. Also, because I believe that leaders must do what it is they ask of others, I delivered my own TEDxYouth talk in 2012 - "Leadership is Humility" in 2012, and I was a TIE in cohort 4 who got to deliver a talk in Edinburgh, Scotland. I currently utilize TED talks and TED-Ed lessons with my 5th & 8th grade students.
