The TED story

In 2016, I attended a workshop called #IamRemarkable, which focuses on empowering women and underrepresented groups to speak more openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond, thereby breaking gender modesty norms and glass ceilings. One of the follow up exercises in the workshop was to write a stretch goal, a 10X goal we wanted to achieve. I wrote down "do something at TED before 30". No specifics, I just knew I had to make my way to TED somehow. After joining the #IamRemarkable team as a 20% project, leading over 20 workshops in 2 years, and working to scale this initiative in the Bay Area, I finally reached that stretch goal and now have the honor of facilitating the #IamRemarkable workshop at this year's TED conference!
