Bio

I have always worked at the intersection of tech and social impact. Most recently led brand at Common Sense Media, helping kids and families make sense of this always on digital world. Before that, I was at Google leading marketing for Google AI, Google for Nonprofits, and Google.org. And before all of that, I was a founding employee at Purpose.com, working with nonprofits and B-Corps. ▫️ My first job set the tone for everything after it: touring a historic print of the Declaration of Independence to 20+ states and helping register over two million voters. I’ve been drawn ever since to the idea that a good story, taken on the road, can actually shift how people think and act. ▫️ This year, I’m turning 40 and America’s turning 250, and our little family is hitting the road to visit all 63 U.S. National Parks. The project is called Roam School Family, and it grew out of a realization that my neurodivergent kids don’t need to be folded up to fit a traditional classroom. They need a bigger one. We are starting the Roam School Family podcast, digging into the overlooked geology, erased history, and quiet stories behind our parks. It’s made for families whose love language is learning. ▫️ I want to fall for this country again, to meet the people doing meaningful work in their communities in every state, and bring others along on the journey with us. I know we have a real and limited window (as parents, as people, as a planet) to pay attention to what matters and build something worth handing down.
