Hi there! My name is Dayana, I'm originally from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, and I've also lived in Bogota (2013) and Prague (2015). I've had the great opportunity of traveling in some cities of Mexico, USA, Colombia, Guatemala, Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, France, Turkey, Ireland, England, Hungary, Austria, Eslovaquia, The Netherlands, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panamá, Perú. I am very grateful, because life has given me so much and I would like to give back some of what I have been given! I like to consider myself as a "global citizen". I want to be able, wherever I may be, to share my knowledge, skills and positive energy for the development of projects and communities. I have a Bachelor degree in International Business, I have previous experience working in a digital marketing agency and I currently work at an International education agency. I have been staff of multiple events for entrepreneurs, my favorite being the global movement FuckUp Nights. I was Event coordinator for FuckUp Nights Ensenada in its 5 editions, with an average of 100 attendents per event. I spent 6 months traveling and volunteering in Central and SouthAmerica through the workaway platform. Some of my hobbies are: reading, swimming, dancing, playing ping-pong and also chess.

Traveling has become my best way of learning. I am passionate about diversity; discovering new ways of seeing life, sharing cultures, connecting with new places, exchanging with so many people, but above all, it has become a journey of self-discovery.

Gap years should be taken as often as needed. They are the perfect opportunity to gain perspective and rediscover your real passions, which lead to a happier life.
