Gabriela Nguena Jones is the CEO of Teens Tutor Teens who works with at-risked and impoverished youth to regain the skills and confidence to excel in the classroom. Gabriela believes that the face the job industry is changing to be a more competitive environment requiring advanced degrees, prior experience, and connections to succeed. This is why she has garnered a passion to aid youth in obtaining a strong educational background to give them a chance to enter that competitive market as well. Gabriela has partnered with the Invictus institute, a 501(c) 3 that internationally connects tutors to underfunded areas, to expand its tutoring beyond the US. Teens Tutor Teen. Her experience in managing non-profits comes from her being the youngest inducted member for Global Giving’s Leadership Council at the age of 17. Gabriela, a senior high school student at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, aims towards graduation with a possible Economics major following a pre-med track.
