Bio
Gabriela Nguena Jones is the CEO of Teens Tutor Teens who works with at-risked and impoverished youth to regain the skills and confidence to excel in the classroom. Gabriela believes that the face the job industry is changing to be a more competitive environment requiring advanced degrees, prior experience, and connections to succeed. This is why she has garnered a passion to aid youth in obtaining a strong educational background to give them a chance to enter that competitive market as well.
Gabriela has partnered with the Invictus institute, a 501(c) 3 that internationally connects tutors to underfunded areas, to expand its tutoring beyond the US. Teens Tutor Teen. Gabriela has been awarded the Guide Star Bronze rating as well as achieved Global Giving Partner Status. Her experience in managing non-profits comes from her being the youngest inducted member for Global Giving’s Leadership Council at the age of 17. Gabriela, a senior high school student at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, aims towards graduation with a possible Economics major following a pre-med track.
