Bio

Diane Farrell is Director of External Relations for the Dayton Metro Library. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Diane is intimately involved with key strategic partnerships focused on community-wide outcomes; career and workforce development, summer enrichment, early childhood literacy, and equity, diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining DML in 2013, Diane was Vice President of External Relations and Development for the Dayton Society of Natural History where she worked to foster individual and corporate relationships, helping to strengthen the organization’s ability to deliver its mission. Diane’s volunteer roles have included local, regional and national positions that align with her professional roles and personal passions. She is a Leadership Dayton and EMPOWER graduate, serves on several boards, including the Montgomery County Arts and Culture District, the Business Advisory Committee of the Educational Services Center, and the Rotary Club of Dayton. Additionally, Diane is Co-Chair for the TEDxDayton Leadership Team.
