About Graham
I am a…
Brainstormer, Educator/Teacher, Engineer, Idea generator, Inventor, Student, Technologist
Bio
I was born with the genetic defect that makes one an engineer. I’ve worked on spacecraft, composite materials for cars, laser communication systems, inkjet printers, and automation for hospitals. I went back and earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering more for the joy of learning and being on the cutting edge than for its applicability in industry. I want to help shape the future.

I'm passionate about
Making the future something that I'm proud to give my children.
An idea worth spreading
The sustainable world population is far lower than current number of people living on the planet. Socieities that are seeing smaller successive generations, however, are experiencing significant stress in dealing with the skewed demographic. The fundamental challenge is to find a social model where a small number of people can provide all the goods and services for a much larger society while maintaining a high standard of living for all.
Areas of expertise
fluid dynamics, manufacturability, new product design, spacecraft design
The TED story
Looking forward to creating a story as I join this group. BTW, the picture of me in a black suit with sunglasses is from our group pictures as Men In Black which we did just for fun.
Things you might not know
Creating aesthetic designs as well as engineering the product.
