Loren has a background in Industrial Psychology (Hon) at the University of Cape Town. She has experience in NLP, strategy development and facilitation and is an avid writer. She loves nothing more than combing her love of these skills in her work as an entrepreneur. She started a company called Beyond Copy which aims to connect people with their ideal audience through the power of storytelling. Loren uses her passion for people, communication and curating experiences and combines this with her knowledge of systems thinking and human behaviour to help companies understand, articulate and then communicate their vision to the world.

I joined TEDxCapeTown in 2018 as a way to expand my network, meet new and interesting people and learn new skills. I have worked across the Operations team, Partnership team, Speaker team and Events Team which enables me to see TEDxCapeTown as a big picture. The organisation has taught me invaluable lessons about teamwork, ideas worth spreading, friendship, business and our social responsibility to do better.
