An idea worth spreading

Cities, the grandest form of civilization, are the key to the planet's future. They are where over half the globe's population lives, a number that will only increase. They are sources for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and efficiencies in per capita energy consumption. They require both the principles of human-scaled neighborhood design of Jane Jacobs, and the public finance innovation and vision for infrastructure and regional planning of Robert Moses.
