Ariel Matias Benz is passionate about technology and astronomy, his first contact with a computer was in the 90's, when his father bought a used Spectrum SZ. He has always wanted to be an astronomer, but his way went to another side. After going through the technical school he decided to study Information Systems Engineering, he is currently finalizing that career. Once in the new millennium and with the explosion of blogs, he decided to create Terabytes Libres, a blog in which in his spare time, writes about technology, astronomy, movies and other topics that interest him. He has worked as a freelance programmer for several years and he is currently a Java developer in a company in his own city. Movie lover, music and science fiction series, books are his other passion, which has not yet move to the electronic world. Deeply curious,convinced that everything in life is a matter of attitude and limits are put by yourself.

I know TED since Stephen Hawking gave his epic speech, answering big questions about the universe. From that moment I was shocked by the content and all the feelings generated by these discussions. In 2011 I had the opportunity to attend the TEDxRosario, and from that moment, something went off in my head. The need to communicate and share good ideas, innovate and motivate people to change everything possible to materialize under the name of TEDxLagunaSetúbal.
