Bio
In 2016 I started my fifth and final career: computer science teacher at Kutztown University, a PA public 4yr school. I bring my industry expertise, project based learning and student driven learning to the classroom.
Co-founder of Viddler, a staff engagement platform helping organizations to build better relationships with their employees and the communities they serve. Understanding clients’ requirements and exceeding their expectations helped build Viddler to service 2,000+ clients.
Passionate about STEM education for middle school and post-secondary students.
Over 30 years of high level project management, software engineering and team building mentoring to Fortune 100 clients. Worked with and guided clients in the analysis and design of their systems, the adoption of software methods, and building successful teams.
I'm passionate about
improving our education system. Our next generation needs to be Solvers of Problems and Creators of Solutions. We need truly equitable education - high quality, engaging, and accessible to all.
I want to mentor and empower students so they have the confidence, skills, and creativity to rock this world.
The TED story
I discovered TED in 2007. I was hooked. Sir Ken Robinson and Sugata Mitra started my journey. I attended the 2015 TEDxLehighRiver. As the mom of 4, I was disillusioned by our education system and wanted to help make a change.
I use TED talks frequently in class to share ideas worth spreading :)
