As so many others do, I come back from TED conferences with the mind both exhausted and exhilarated. Listening to an inspiring speaker on the stage and then being able to sit down and have coffee with him/her afterwards is a thrill.

Writing at the same time with both hands, with the left writing backwards. I can't figure out what possible good this does for mankind, but I think it's remarkable.
