Being half Tanzanian and half Dutch I have had the opportunity to explore both cultures along with various other ones from the streets of New York city to the shores of Colombo, Sri Lanka. I constantly seek to learn more about the world and what it has to offer. I strive to be a better person and truly become a citizen of the world.

I am passionate about the world and social issues. I advocate for sustainability, advances in science and medicine as well as the equality of all man. I am passionate about the issues facing third wold countries around the world and raising awareness about those issues. Furthermore, I am passionate about defying stereotypes and becoming more open minded about all topics as well as others opinions and perspectives. In addition, for private matters I am an advocate for finding cures or solutions to currently incurable diseases such as Alzheimers.

I believe that all ideas should be spread but emphasis should currently be placed on the ideas that can further help the planet and the next generation. Ideas about perseverance, change mindset and freedom of expression. Ideas on sustainability and internationalisation and unification of the world and it inhabitants. How to improve relations and how to become a more selfless population as to ensure a better and brighter future for the next generation.

After years of watching TED talks for school purposes to watching them in my free time, I believe it has made me more of a world person. I am currently organising a TED talk at my university and hope to enlighten people in my community. I hope to one day perhaps speak at a TED event and share my views on topics that I am truly passionate about. To just be part of a plat form that has already inspired so much change and learning throughout the world has been an honour and a privilege. I hope to continue to do my part to help educate and unify the global community.
