I'm a biologist with a master degree in Evolutionary and Developmental Biology. Since I've started my academic path in the Faculty of Science of University of Lisbon (FCUL) I engaged in several associative organizations. One of them was NEBFCUL ("Biology Students' Association of the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon") in witch I've organized and coordinated a few conferences. This experience gave me the opportunity to improve my work group skills and leadership. Besides my love for biology I've recently found a new interest, science communication. I'm currently working in this area at FCUL. In addition to my work I'm a member of Pint of Science Portugal.

A good friend of mine told me about this idea and he suggested me for the team. I've decided to accept this adventure because I like the concept and the importance that TED talks might have in people's life.
