Kylie’s belief that empowered girls with voice and agency will change the world is at the heart of her life mission and philanthropy. In 2012, she founded, and now serves as Executive Chair of the NGO, Global G.L.O.W. (Girls Leading Our World). Global G.L.O.W.’s mission, to ignite the power of girls as a force for global transformation, is furthered through the creation and operation of innovative programs across the US and in 30 countries in Asia, Africa, South America and the Middle East. Through Global G.L.O.W.’s mentoring model and proprietary curricula, over 18,000 girls annually receive the tools to advocate for themselves, to overcome barriers to empowerment and to strengthen their communities. Kylie is also the founder and CEO of Le Nid, Inc. (parent company of Crèmily French Frozen Yogurt)a social enterprise with 100% of its profits benefiting girl-focused NGO’s worldwide. Crèmily is in the midst of a national rollout in major supermarket chains, sports stadiums and direct-to-home sales. The brand carries the message of the vital importance of girls’ empowerment into consumer’s homes and lives. Kylie serves on myriad non-profit boards that focus on girls’ and women’s issues and has been honored by schools and NGO’s for her dedication to children’s causes. Kylie holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Positive Psychology and is a frequent speaker on topics of girls’ and women’s empowerment, social-emotional learning, positive psychology, social entrepreneurship and consumer package goods, particularly frozen yogurt!
