About Hensley
Bio
I’m a mother to an amazing 18 year old girl, outdoor adventurer, and health care consultant. I’m a regular (some would say obsessive) runner and avid rock climber and mountaineer. In my professional life, I focus on helping organizations in the health care ecosystem transform their business and operating models to become more patient centric, and to shift their organizational cultures to focus on patient outcomes. I travel every year or so to Kenya and other countries in sub-Saharan Africa in my role as a member of the board of directors of AMREF Health Africa, which focuses on women and children’s health issues, to see firsthand some of our remarkable work there.
I'm passionate about
Running, rock climbing, mountaineering, exploring new places and meeting new people, getting outside.
An idea worth spreading
If we start measuring POI (Patient Outcome Impact) in addition to ROI we can make more patient centered choices about how we invest in healthcare.
