I’m a junior in high school. I love documentaries, classic novels, and writing. I’m also an editor for my school’s national award-winning online newspaper.
I'm passionate about
words, both written and spoken. I love the change they can bring. I get excited about their different meanings, which can change with simply the words before and after. I am inspired by the emotions they can bring or take away in people.
An idea worth spreading
Educational innovation. I love to learn, but most kids my age don't. And I don't blame them. There are so many things wrong with the school system, and so many easy ways to fix them. I seek after the idea of interactive classrooms, and more than just labs in science. I want teachers to customize their teaching to individual students, not to standardized tests. I want discussions to take place in classrooms, not lectures.
