May 18, 2019, TEDxBankingUniversity was held. A lot of work stands behind this project. The idea appeared in summer 2018. I proposed to organize a TEDx event for my friend and she said: "let's do it". We applied for a license and twice received rejections. Usually, application reviewing takes around 2 months. After second rejection I almost gave up but then I pull myself together an applied again. Finally, after 6 months we were approved to conduct the event. At that moment I realized that applying for a license was the easiest part of the whole deal. We worked stage by stage. First, we found a team then we started to look for motivational speakers. The hardest was to find potential sponsors. Our team consisted of designer, website developer, speaker coordinator and me as a project coordinator. Keeping track of numerous tasks, multiple vendors, and constantly changing to-do lists all at once were challenging. In the end, our project was more than just successful. Our TEDxBankingUniversity took place at the amazing innovative space - UNIT.city. Our speakers crushed the audience with strong and motivating speeches. Visitors overwhelmed social networks with thankful reviews. It was the biggest award we could receive as organizers. TED community helped to realize my potential and motivate others to work for the goal. I was sincerely happy with the decision to join the TED community.
