Bio

I believe in the need and in the possibility of creating a new society. I studied social sciences at Federal University of Minas Gerais, and lived for one year in Bologna, Italy, studying Political Sciences. More than a Social activist, I am a life activist: I truly believe that every human being deserves a decent life and has a potential to contribute to a more interesting world.

I'm passionate about

I'm mostly passionated about people, stories, ideas, and creating new realities. I also love to read, write, listen to good music, stay in good company, observe the world.

An idea worth spreading

The world is there to be... created. Words are there to be... adored. Fantasy is there to be... used. Dreams are there to be... useful. The world is there to be... dreamed. We can live in a world without poverty. We can live in the world of beauty. Life is essential - let's create beautiful and abbundant ways for it.

The TED story

It all started because a TED couple got pregnant and wanted to give birth to their little baby in a city which name means Beautiful Horizon. That is how I arrive on TEDxBeloHorizonte, in TEDx community, in Doha to swim in the Persian Gulf, in California to spend some time in Palm Springs, in Whistler to happily hurt my knee skiing for the first time. In Palm Springs I discovered a frequent attendee, Tango, is a long time friend of my cousin - they worked together some years ago! In Whistler I found a friend of a friend in the gondola heading to our ending party on the top of the mountain! In Whistler I also found Jimmy Lin and his wonderful path to the cure of cancer - just on the same day of the death anniversary of my aunt - who died of lung cancer (March, 18th). TED for me is about finding friends and finding similars that makes the world seems even bigger and even closer, tough.
